O’Neill GPS Nav JacketThis may look like a standard Goretex all-weather jacket but it has one additional feature, an in-built GPS unit.

The jacket has an “in-arm” integrated display, and wearers get audio instructions via the audio unit integrated in the hood. As well as standard directional instructions, information such as local weather forecasts and travelling speed are also available.

The GPS Enabled Jacket is the result of a partnership between O’Neill’s Wearable Electronics Department, the “H Division” and MyGuide.

The Jacket is currently under testing this winter in the Alps, and is expected to be available during 2008/2009.
