WIFI Detecting WatchWIFI detecting devices have been around for a couple of years now and certainly come in handy if your on the hunt of a WIFI connection without wanting to switch on your Laptop.

Normally WIFI Detectors are dongles or keychains, but this WIFI detector comes in the form of a standard digital watch, and to be honest, it doesn’t look too bad in a sort of ’80s way. It comes with a steel fascia and a rubber wristband.

So how’s it work. Well, press the little WIFI button on the front of the watch and it will go looking for available wireless networks in your area. It’ll also show you how strong the signal is on a scale of 0 to 8 (why not 10).

You can buy this now for a reasonable $29.99 at ThinkGeek.
