Liquid Image have announced a new-take on the under water digital camera. This one has the digital camera integrated directly inside your diving mask, so you’re not having to carry the camera in your hand the whole time when you’re diving.

When you want to take a photo or a record a video, simply line up the crosshairs inside the mask with the object you want to photo and press the capture button. Not suprisinlgly, the digital mask hooks up to your PC via the USB port.

The Liquid Image Digital Underwater Camera Mask will be available in both 3.1 and 5.0 megapixel resolutions, and comes with 16MB memory in-built, but this is expandable using SD cards.

It will be officially unveiled at CES 2008 and is expected to retail for $99.
